LED & Video Walls
Capture attention and engage with cutting-edge technology LED walls and LED screens; put your brand on display to the world with confidence and finesse with LED panel technology.
What is an LED video wall?
LED stands for ‘Light Emitting Diode’, and they are essentially screens made up of rows of tiny lights all coordinated together by computer programming to form a single image – the closer the LEDs are together – the higher the resolution and image quality (often referred to as ‘pixel pitch’ or ‘pp’ for short). All LED walls can be made to custom sizing through a modular system (LED panels can even be made curved; bending around corners or pillars!), and they can be used indoors or outdoors; making them a highly adaptable and low-cost solution for creating a large seamless image or display video creatively.
The content for video walls can either be played ‘live’ as images or video you showcase manually or be pre-programmed on a timer or in a synced list via pre-recorded video. There are a number of content management systems (CMS) that help you manage this process quickly and easily.

How can a video wall help an office environment?
An LED wall can bring a range of benefits to an office environment, helping to improve communication, collaboration, productivity, and overall brand image. With high-resolution, high-brightness displays and versatile capabilities, LED screens are a valuable investment for any company that is looking to take its presentations and communication to the next level; for potential customers and employees alike.
Simple LED screens and complex LED video wall displays made up of custom LED panels can serve as an effective tool for communicating important information to employees, such as company updates, performance metrics, and other key data. The large size and high-resolution displays make it easy to see and understand, even from a distance, helping to keep employees informed and engaged.
An indoor LED video wall can facilitate collaboration and teamwork by allowing multiple people to view and work on the same information at the same time on a seamless display. This can be especially useful for remote teams, as the video wall can display shared content such as presentations, documents, or videos. With a clear, large display, important information can be quickly and easily shared, helping to streamline the decision-making process and get more done in less time.
LED video wall displays, either indoor or outdoor, can create a powerful visual impact, making it an ideal tool for presentations and events. With its high-resolution and contrast, vibrant colours and seamless displays an LED video wall can help to engage and captivate an audience, making your presentations more memorable, effective, and inspiring for your workforce.
Video walls made up of LED panels can help to reinforce your brand image and create a professional, high-tech atmosphere in your office, event or conference. With its sleek and modern design, LED video wall solutions can be a key element of your office interior design, helping to communicate your company’s commitment to innovation and technology through digital signage or video content.
How to choose the right LED Wall for your needs
When choosing an LED video wall, other than the size of the area you need to illuminate, there are several technical factors that you should consider to ensure that you select the best solution for your needs and that you invest in a solution that provides the service, performance and reliability that you require with seamless images.
Resolution (or pixel pitch)
This is one of the most important factors to consider when choosing an LED video wall, as this is also where the price varies significantly and there are a range of screen options to suit your project. Higher resolutions provide a clearer, sharper image, which is important for presentations and other complex visual content. Consider the size of the video wall, the viewing distance, the target quality of the video, and your budget (including any other equipment you might need to buy; like sound systems) when choosing the pixel pitch – these factors will all need to be balanced out by priorities.
LED panels come in various brightness levels, which can impact their visibility in different lighting conditions and also their power consumption and longevity. Consider the ambient light level in the room, as well as any direct sunlight and natural light for outdoor setups, when choosing the brightness level of the video wall. High brightness and contrast options make LED video walls often the most reliable choice for large open spaces with varying light levels.
LED video walls can have different wide viewing angles, which determine how wide an area the display can be seen from but also the ‘wow’ factor first impression you’d like to create in combination with the right pixel pitch. Consider the placement of the video wall and the desired viewing area when choosing the viewing angle. By considering these features, you can ensure that you select the best LED video walls for your needs and invest in a solution that provides the performance and reliability you require.
Commercial-grade LED technology has a surprisingly easy setup process, but like all technology, LED video wall solutions require care and attention to keep their internal components up and running. Proper maintenance, installation and upkeep are crucial to making your entire wall look in top form and last longer; having the right settings, connections and software updates, cleaning and periodic inspections are all required. Having a reputable supplier and installation company that provides ongoing maintenance and monitoring will ensure you are getting the right proactive and preventative care and monitoring to make the most of your investment.
How much do LED walls cost?
In general, the cost of an LED wall varies widely between £5000 and £15000 for most smaller midrange setups.
Indoor LED wall displays come in various sizes and pixel pitches, catering to specific needs in different industries. The lower the pixel pitch the finer the image, but the more costly; so there’s a balance to be made between quality and viewing distance.
For instance, a 2.5m x 2m LED wall might range approximately between £8,000 to £15,000 for a finer P2 pitch suitable for closer viewing distances (4-6 meters) and £5,000 to £10,000 for a P10 pitch suitable for longer distances (20-30 meters).
Similarly, a 3m x 2m display could range approximately from £10,000 to £18,000 for P2 and £6,000 to £12,000 for P10 and follow the same viewer distance. Larger walls of 18’x25′ (approx. 5.5m x 7.6m) or more usually used for events and concerts would vary significantly in cost based on their size and pixel pitch up to more than £100,000 for a 4k 5m x 7m.
Please note that these costs don’t encompass installation or ongoing maintenance, which should be budgeted separately. Mounting accessories are typically included in the listed prices, but additional installation complexity for larger walls, like hiring cranes, may increase expenses.
