Neat solutions for Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTRs)
Since Neat first launched their Neat Bar at the 2019 Zoomtopia event in Silicon Valley (they were originally part funded by Zoom) they have been renowned for producing amazing Zoom Room devices.
Recently Neat announced that their bars would also support the Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) platform, opening themselves to a whole new world of possibilities.
PROS
– Quick and Simple to deploy.
– Can be deployed as Zoom Rooms or MTRs (but not both platforms at the same time).
– Suite of inbuilt sensors so data, such as room temperature and humidity, can be measured.
CONS
– All systems are based on a video soundbar and so they do not cater for rooms of all sizes.
– Limited flexibility to integrate with third-party hardware and equipment.
– No solution for larger spaces, such as auditoriums.
Product Options
There are currently four products in the Neat product set, which does allow Neat to be installed in the majority of meeting room types.
Neat Pad
A SIMPLE TOUCH SCREEN YOU CAN USE AS A MEETING ROOM CONTROLLER OR SCHEDULER
Neat pad is an 8″ controller for Neat Bar with LED lights on the side to indicate when a call is muted. Neat Pad is a simple touch screen which you can use to control your meetings or display room availability outside the room. Neat Pad beautifully blends in anywhere, whether placed on a table, wall or mullion. It’s worth noting they are wired only, so cable management needs to be considered.
