In June 2025, TenAV partnered with Urbanest, one of London’s leading providers of premium purpose‑built student accommodation, to modernise and unify its communication infrastructure across six major locations. With residences in King’s Cross, Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, the City of London, Vauxhall and Victoria, Urbanest required a reliable and scalable digital signage solution capable of delivering clear, consistent and instantly updated information to thousands of residents.

Transforming the Resident Communication Experience
Before TenAV’s involvement, messaging relied heavily on outdated screens that required manual USB updates, resulting in slow communication cycles, inconsistent branding and operational inefficiencies. Urbanest sought a modern platform that would improve accuracy, strengthen resident engagement and streamline communication across all sites.
A Unified, Cloud‑Managed Digital Platform
TenAV designed a centrally managed digital signage and audio solution that allows Urbanest to control content across all six sites from a single cloud platform while still tailoring messages to individual buildings and zones. Reception areas now feature modern displays showing arrival information, safety notices, transport updates and urgent announcements. Communal areas such as gyms, foyers and cinema rooms present resident‑focused messaging, including wellbeing guidance, community updates, fitness classes, staff introductions and event information.
This unified approach ensures that residents consistently receive relevant, timely information, improving clarity and enhancing the overall living experience across all locations.

A key factor in the success of this programme was TenAV’s end‑to‑end delivery model. All installation work was completed by TenAV’s own certified engineers, ensuring consistent workmanship, regulatory compliance and a high‑quality finish at every site. A dedicated TenAV project manager oversaw scheduling, logistics and communication, coordinating all six locations to ensure smooth delivery without disruption to residents or operational teams.
